Log-in doesnt work and app needs major usability improvements!

With the latest version it is now impossible even to check actual flight times. Air Berlin should fire their IT company and create a new app on the Delta model. How can a major world airline have such a miserable app, this is a disgrace, there must be someone in Germany that can design a simple functional app for them! With the latest version if you search flight departure information the app only shows the airports, no flight times, almost a joke!

The latest version of this app has polished up on some of the areas that I found lacking before. So nice to see that the team that develops this app seems to iterate and improve upon the previous versions. I especially like the personalized greetings and backgrounds that adapt to the context. Morning, midday, evening, night and what flights have been prebooked before. When opening the app the day before flying, i no longer need to navigate through the menu to the "check-in" and start entering my flight number. No, the app greets me and suggests me to check-in for the next flight, preloading all details so I dont need to fill it out any more. Subtle but very nice.

The inability to perform check-in have left me hanging. Neither the app or a phone call to airBerlin allows for a successful check-in. While vacationing in Italy one of the points is to get away from the web browsers that are required to perform a task that all the other airline apps seem to be able to do.

For me the most user-friendly Airline App when it comes to checking in. Simply enter the booking code and then youre 2 clicks away from your boarding pass. Also all the loyalty data is available at your fingertip. Ideal app for a frequent flyer who needs convenience.

You dont have to sign up to be part of their Frequent Flier program to use this app. Its easy to add a booking and get/use boarding passes.

Just like a airline app should be: fast, simple & informative.

Very frustrating- purchased tix to Italy on Expedia and seat upgrades on Air Berlin website. **There is no way on this app or on their website to actually see your seat numbers!**. On top of that Expedia keeps sending us emails that they cant confirm our seats and to contact the airline. Have called several times, but still getting emails periodically from Expedia.

Problems with Alitalia codeshare flights. No checkin possible.

ABs app is among the better airline apps most of the time. Occasionally it doesnt sync with my bookings and the change booking options could be better.

Log in with TopBonus account does not work!

Easy to use.

Who needs this app if theres no Topbonus login and you cant add the FF card to the Wallet?

3rd time flying with AB, ones from Miami and ones Curacao. The Airport @ Curacao is a Hellhole but the flight and staff compensated perfectly!

Super annoying, Top Bonus login hasnt been working for the past three month!!!!!!!!!!

once my flight is retrieved on the app Id expect to see the boarding pass on my phone not having to press save boarding pass again. in fact, Id like to see all passes of the family. some kids have now phone plan yet. thomas
